 Mobilink Manual GPRS Setting For All Android Mobile Phones 

Mobilink Indigo (may be for Jazz users as well) users who have recently got an Android phone might have some trouble setting up the GPRS/EDGE on your phone. Well, I’m a Mobilink user as well and figured out where and what APN settings to put in.

Follow the steps below to get your GPRS/EDGE working on your Android phone!

1. Go to Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks >Access Point Names.
2. Press the ‘Menu’ key and select “New APN”.
3. Now use the following settings:

Name: Mobilink (anything you like)

APN: connect.mobilinkworld.com

MCC: 410 (should be there by default)

MNC: 01 (use whatever is there by default)

1- Click on Webservices   OR Connectivity   (Depend on mobile)

2- Select Data Account

3- Creat a new data account or Edit a Previous one

Now enter / edit the following entries carefully

Account Name : Mobilink Wap

APN :  jazzwap.mobilinkworld.com

User Name : Mobilink

Password : Mobilink

Auth.Type: Normal

 Home Page :wap.mobilinkworld.com

Connection type : Http

user proxy : yes

Proxy Address : 172.024.097.029

Proxy Port :8080

Mobilink MMS Setting

1- Click on Webservices   OR Connectivity   (Depend on mobile)

2- Select Data Account

3- Creat a new data account or Edit a Previous one

Now enter / edit the following entries carefully

Account Name : Mobilink MMS

APN : jazzmms.mobilinkworld.com

User Name : mobilink

Password : mobilink

Auth.Type: normal

 Home Page :  HTTP://mms

Connection type : Http

user proxy :yes

 Proxy Address : 172.025.020.012

Proxy Port :  8080

Cheer up u have done your settings but first confirm from your cellular company through helpline that GPRS and MMS is active on your SIM or not. If not ask them to activate.
