Below are the GPRS/EDGE internet settings you need for Zong on Android.
Follow the steps below to get your GPRS/EDGE working on your Android phone!
  1. Go to Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks >Access Point Names.
  2. Press the ‘Menu’ key and select “New APN”.
  3. Now use the following settings:

    Name: Zong Internet (anything you like)

    APN: zonginternet

    MCC: 410 (should be there by default)

    MNC: 01 (use whatever is there by default)
  4. You can leave all the other fields blank as they are and save these settings.

Just follow the steps below to enable Telenor internet on your Android phones:
  1. Go to Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks >Access Point Names.
  2. Press the ‘Menu’ key and select “New APN”.
  3. Now use the following settings:

    Name: Telenor (anything you like)

    APN: internet

    Proxy: 172.018.019.011

    Port: 0 (or 8080)

    Username: Telenor (case-sensitive)

    Password: Telenor (case-sensitive)

    MCC: 410 (should be there by default)

    MNC: 06 (use whatever is there by default)

Mobilink Indigo (may be for Jazz users as well) users who have recently got an Android phone might have some trouble setting up the GPRS/EDGE on your phone. Well, I’m a Mobilink user as well and figured out where and what APN settings to put in.
Follow the steps below to get your GPRS/EDGE working on your Android phone!
  1. Go to Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks >Access Point Names.
  2. Press the ‘Menu’ key and select “New APN”.
  3. Now use the following settings:
Name: Mobilink (anything you like)
APN: connect.mobilinkworld.com
MCC: 410 (should be there by default)
MNC: 01 (use whatever is there by default)

  • Go to Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks >Access Point Names.
  • Press the ‘Menu’ key and select “New APN”.
  • Now use the following settings:
Name: Warid GPRS
  • Now use the following settings:
    Name: Warid Internet (anything you like)
    APN: warid or waridwap
    MCC: 410 (should be there by default)
    MNC: 07 (use whatever is there by default)
    APN type: default
  • You can leave all the other fields blank as they are and save these settings.

Regarding your MMS settings, it differs depending on whether you have a post- or pre pay contract with

Ufone. Please use the appropriate settings. Ufone MMS Postpay

1. On the device, press the Menu key.
2. Select Settings > Wireless controls > Mobile network settings > Access Point Names.
3. Press the Menu key and select New APN. (In case there already is an APN in the list called Ufone MMS, tap it to edit settings)
4. Select Name, enter Ufone MMS post and press OK.
5. Select APN, enter ufone.mms and press OK.
6. Enter the user name and password listed below. If no value is listed, leave the field blank.
* User name:
* Password:
7. Select MMSC, enter http://www.ufonemms.com:80 and press OK.
8. Select MMS Proxy, enter 172.16.13.27 and press OK.
9. Select MMS Port, enter 8080 and press OK.
10. Select APN type, select mms and press OK.
